Hi Martyn,
I never had the chance to go there (I was supposed to work on a film
about howling monkeys a few years ago...) :(
But our friend Fernand Deroussen, who co-founded French organization for
nature recording Sonatura, is quite experienced about French Guyana.
He recently published in collaboration with National Natural History
Museum of Paris a 3-CDs collection of local birds distributed by
Chiff-Chaff / Oreille verte ( http://www.oreilleverte.com )
You may contact him for more information. His personal website is
Naturophonia.com
Friendly,
Yannick
