Adobe Soundbooth CS4

Subject: Adobe Soundbooth CS4

I've just taken delivery of the Adobe CS4 Web Premium. One of the
included titles is Soundbooth CS4 (which is in effect Version 2)

There was some discussion a short while ago about individual channel
editing, and it was the consensus that Soundbooth wouldn't do this.

Well, I'm pleased to say it will. You can now load a stereo file into
Soundbooth and from that create a new 'Multitrack File From Channels'

You find this under 'File - New - Multitrack File From Channels'

I tried it on a file called 'GoolwaFlags.mp3

It then creates a file called 'Untitled Multitrack 1'. Underneath this
are 'GoolwaFlags_L' & GoolwaFlags_R' both channels are now
interdependently editable.

Also, if anyone is interested, I have my Soundbooth CS3 available. Any
offers welcome.

Regards
John
