Depends on the localisation effect you require, Ive found outer ear binaura=
l mics, or even
a baffle between two mics does not produce the same effect as a binaural he=
ad complete
with artificial ears (laser scanned from real ears) where the elevation clu=
es are more
pronounced. e.g the bird is above or below the head.

A set where the mic is almost inside your own ear may be more realistic.
