I don't know if this has already been pointed out, a quick search did not b=
ring up anything.

The Wildlife Sound Recording Society has a review of the Olympus LS10, whic=
h some
members might be interested in. There are lots of examples to listen to, in=
cluding some very
nice Lyrebirds recorded by Vicki Powys.
