Hi,
http://www.urlme.net/blog/?p=211 Contains photos and samples of my efforts
to
build a dummy head. The morning birds were captured with the head sitting
close to a
wall, sample mp3 can be downloaded here:

http://urlme.net/bl/binhead/birds-construction-roadnoise.mp3

The head is using plug in power with an Edirol R09HR recorder, mic capsules are
modified
cardioids into an omni pattern with two in each of my wifes laser scanned,
machined and
cast rubber ears.

Ill take the head to the local river to capture some water sounds and will also
test
following the recent posts about the hole in the middle effect with the KU100
to see if this
head also suffers. Lookinat at the plot below it may very well have that
problem at least
3dB down in the center.

Mike.
