Hi Paul, Yes, the MKH20s are running flat. Some bass rolloff to attenuate distant traffic was applied in post. I also set my record levels conservatively in case of cockie flyby and other dynamic inputs! The file is then boosted to optimal levels when editing. With 24bit recording one has a lot of depth to work with, so even low record levels will boost up nicely.
