"While a picture is worth a thousand words, a
sound is worth a thousand pictures." R. Murray Schafer via Bernie Krause
This clip will take your mind to another place, believe me...
Set the scene: A bird suet is hanging in a tree in the woods to the
rear of our home, A black bear smells it and scales the tree, (listen
to the claws dig in the bark as he climbs the tree) reaching out to
one of the limbs he breaks the branch and everything comes tumbling
down including the attached suet.. The bear climbs back down the tree
and walks over to the suet, still attached to the branch, the bear
then drags the whole tree limb down to the rear of the woods knocking
over my weather machine on the way, (distant crash) to find a safe
place to devour the well earned suet block.
