There are something like 20-30 bioacoustics/signal analysis programs in lists for this arena, but I'm only acquainted with a few of them. Signal from Kim Beeman (http://www.engdes.com/) has been around a long time and does this selective event capture; the analysis package from Raimund Specht, who posts here frequently, does as well. Another option is a freeware program, Ishmael, from Dave Mellinger that includes this feature (http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/vents/acoustics/whales/ishmael/call-rec.html). HTH Bill > Thanks Bill !
