A person posting as "nolonemo" on the Tapers Section forums has created a very inexpensive do-it-yourself clamp for a pocket-size recorder. The clamp lets you easily attach the recorder to your mic stand. See the photos here: http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=108469.0 The clamp attaches to the recorder using a bolt with 1/4-inch threads. Many small recorders have sockets with this threading, including Sony PCM-D50 (illustrated in the photos) Sony PCM-D1 Olympus LS-10 Zoom H2 Marantz PMD620 (using the included belt clip) Yamaha Pocketrax CX (coming soon) Edirol R-09HR (using an optional case) Recorders that do not have a tripod socket M-Audio Microtrack II Tascam DR-1 --oryoki |
