Hi Max,

Tamiya every time. If you go for one over 4000mAhr that will last you all
day, 8 hours of more. Use AA's you may get 2hrs and they cost a lot more.

You do need a charger as well. The Tamiya batteries and chargers are
available from model shops as they are used in RC models. Or you can use
the internet.
