Yep, I carry it in what my wife takes pleasure in describing as my
'murse' (man-purse), my small shoulder bag in which my lipsti-- I
mean, life, resides.
I don't use it for 'serious' recording but it's been nice to have to
whip out for the odd unexpected occasion. Since we had our daughter
it's also getting a lot of use to document her ever-changing songs,
calls, and odd tail feather noises!
I wouldn't recommend it to someone who had more money to burn, but
you'd be surprised how many people write me wanting to get into
recording for whom $180 is already a stretch... :/

Perhaps, I was mostly responding to the idea that the LS-10 was a
'waste of money' which seems to have been not serious anyway!
I agree generally, of course, that there is a lot of enthusiasm and
interest in low-cost 'point in shoot' recorders in these parts --
arguably more so than their more expensive cousins -- and that for the
most part people are agreed on their honorable role -- limitations. :)
Mostly I desired to get something in the thread with an eye to someone
reading it six months hence in the archives!
