A course traditionally aimed at students / individuals preparing for
fieldwork, but anyone with an interest in wildlife sound recording is
welcome to attend. Student rate =A358.75 (=A350 + VAT), Non-student rate =
=A370.50
(=A360 + VAT).
The course tutor is renowned wildlife sound recordist Chris Watson. Best
known for his work with the BBC Natural History Unit, Chris has over 20
years experience recording wildlife and natural soundscapes all over the
world. He won a Bafta for his work on the 1998 series The Life of Birds and
was one of the main sound recordists used by David Attenborough on The Blue
Planet, Life in the Undergrowth, The Life of Mammals and Life in Cold Blood=
.
He has also worked on many BBC Radio 4 programmes including the highly
acclaimed Soundscape series as well as many others.
