Lots of tales to come in the next few days and recordings that were made in these cool places! But just a quickie first, Texas and Puerto Rico are extremely hard to find quiet places! Compared to 12 years ago on a scale of 1-10, Texas has increased dramatically with noise.... Santa Ana NWR is one of the noisiest with Aransas NWR being one of the quietest... I have some cool sounds to share, stay tuned :) Martyn ************************************* Martyn Stewart http://www.naturesound.org Redmond WA 425-898-0462 Make every garden a wildlife habitat ************************************** Listen to the Birds and the Bees at http://naturesound.libsyn.org/ ------------------------------------------------ View a Nature Recordists Blog! http://naturesound.org/Nature_Blog/Nature_Blog.html |
