I assume the input is some sort of machine generated broad spectrum signal, but I don't have details. The graph is a one of a series posted to the Tapers Section forum discussion of the Tascam DR-1. Along with the Sony PCM-D50, there are gifs reporting test results for the M-Audio Microtrack 2, the Zoom H2 and the Marantz PMD-620.
