Hello I have an MKH30/40 setup for stereo recordings and was interested in doing some more focused parabolic mono recordings. To this end I have been entertaining the idea of picking up a Telinga Universal and using the MKH-40. Is this a good idea even though the MKH-40 is a cardiod (and not omni)? What are the consequences of using a cardioid mic over an omni microphone in a parabolic setup? Best David http://unnature.net |
