Eric I note your careful wording or caveats & you clearly state some useful= points, but for sure I have always had a huge problem in believing in Sone= s and the like. Seems to me to be "dodgy science" at it's worst. This idea = as we both know is trotted out "in the literature" as if it actually means= something. How the F*** can anyone say sound x is twice as loud as sound y= ? IMO the poor subjects of these dodgy - non scientific - bullshit tests ha= ving been asked the equivalent of how orangey is fruit A than fruit B is ap= ple like feel obliged to give an answer, but .......... JL |
