The method places the two events (A/B variables) very close together
which seems to make it easier for the mind/ear to recall the nature
of "A" when "B" comes along with its change.
I use very brief (2-10 millisecond) "equal power" type cross-fades
between the clips.

Looking forward to your results. I like the additional low octaves
your rig is getting compared to some dish recordings seem to lack.
Center-Side mixing ability would interesting to consider for field
adjustment. Might require a mic level mixer of some sort though.
Maybe someone has a cheaper_easier DIY solution?
If you think of it, direct your dish to a neutral spot on the horizon
for a while too (just presence is fine). I detected some some
resonance in the room recording and we can see if its repeated
outside. Rob D.
