My home-designed leather case has worked great for me for the past 6 months and carries easily on a webbing belt at my waist (I hate shoulder straps). It cost more than the courier bag for sure but much less than a swiss price for a portabrace. See it again here and copy if useful(not trademarked !). http://cjhails.googlepages.com/fr2lecase Curt Olson: I have only occasionally left my machine running for long periods (for me 2-4 hours), but had no problems with the freezing you report. Sorry.
