As much as I love my laptop, I would have never gotten the off-the- cuff recordings with a laptop that I have with the Edirol R-09 I got a few months ago. The R-09 fits in my pocket, boots quickly, and records well. The mics are... eh... but they're OK. I plan to add some head-worn binaurals and I'll be good to go. My two bits, non-dithered. - H Heather Perkins Sound Designer - Composer - Mad Scientist WaterDog Studio & Land-O-Newts! Records |
