Thanks guys on your advice. 
Dan ... so thats what your using. I did do a search for the MP2 at one
stage and nothing came up...ok so its discontinued. Why did SD not put
a 1/4 headphone socket in there 302 like on there mixpre/442
mixers....from the look of the side panel looks like they could have
put it directly under the 3.5m out...but I guess it's not a big
obstacle and  maybe I could modify. The 302 Still looks to be my best
option.
