I sometimes use two ME62's, and have gotten some good recordings with this combination. My only problem is that one of the ME62's is a lot more susecpible to high humidity than the other. When I go to Costa Rica I have to be careful to protect the mic capsules with dessicant, especially the on= e that does not do so well. I have one ME66 and I am thinking about getting another to try that combination. I have tried using one ME66 and one ME62, for a kind of MS eftect. This works O.K., but the two mics are a long way from balanced, so = I have to tweak the ME62 track sometimes for good results. Robin Carter Columbia, SC USA |
