dear all,
I'm trying to write a book (initially in italian) for my course on
bioacoustics and I'd like to write a chapter about the first
instruments used to record and, much later, to analyze sounds. I'd
appreciate a lot if you could point me to books, papers or other
documents about the first bioacoustic instruments. Also, it would be
wonderful if you could share with me photographs of historic equipment.
This special chapter will be also published online to be shared with
everyone and to thanks contributors (unlike they don't authorize the
online publishing).
Thanks in advance for all pieces of info you'll be able to give me,
Gianni
