intermittent high-pitched tone added when recording. Caused by RF

Subject: intermittent high-pitched tone added when recording. Caused by RF
noise generated when the recorder periodically draws power to write
data to the flash memory card. This can be avoided by using an
external power source of 6V or greater.

The H4 has a decent quality preamp, but that's not enough to recommend
it because of these shortcomings.
