[gear] M-Audio Microtrack 2496 "version 2" coming

Thanks to Tapers Section member "scyue" for pointing
out a web page that announces a new version of the
Microtrack 2496.  Delivery is supposed to start in
August, so if you're thinking about a pocket size
24/96 recorder, you might want to wait a few weeks
until the details become clear.

The source of the story is Solid State Sound, a well-
respected vendor in the UK.

Maybe this explains why the current version of the
Microtrack 2496 has been selling for such low prices 
recently.
