Are you thinking of the online list maintained for some years by Shaun Pete=
rs? His list
covered the entire world and indexed the recordings from more than 200 publ=
ications.
Shaun mentioned in an email that it was a casualty of a computer crash. He =
has been in
touch with contributors to xeno-canto, and has offered to supply a copy of =
his list to
interested individuals. I believe he has plans to rework the list and get i=
t back online at
some point.
That was a unique and helpful resource!
