hi yannick, i replied to you privately, but here's an addition that might be of interest to the group: there is one well-known estonian nature-recordist, named fred jussi, active mostly in the late 70's / 80's. there's a reprinted interview with him in a sound art special that john grzinich curated for the estonian kunst.ee arts magazine. john has an english version available as a pdf here: http://maaheli.ee/heli/helikunst_eri.html (ah - however, i've just noticed that the he only has english for the parts he wrote himself - the interview was done by someone else in 1980, and is not translated here. sorry). best, patrick |
