Do you think it records 4 channel? Stereo seems more likely from what

No PIP at the mic jack, but the voltage may be accessible in the 
leads for the built-in mics.

Jerry's recent test comparing the emks-23's, wl183's, em-158's 
WM-61A's and 35-0190's has me very interested in the EM-23 capsules. 
I agree that two of these modified an for H2 is an intriguing 
possibility. Key Samson claims: manual gain; 24 bits; Mac/PC via UB 
Message: 2.
Subject: 0; 4 GB SD capacity; time-stamp. Unknown are pre gain, pre noise, 
headphone output level and alternate DC powering.

The presentation for the H2 is impressive. I can't recall seeing a 
discussion of polar patterns with diagrams in lit for a $200 recorder 
before. Suggests to me Samson feels intro level recordists are pretty 
well-informed. Rob D.
