Hi Lou,

I'm new to the list and unfortunately my first post is way off topic,
but hopefully I can shed some light of the url problem.

I'm using Apple Mail on OSX 10.4.9 and had the same issue with the
url being wrapped. I think there are issues preventing the caret's
from working unrelated to mail client used.

Yahoo Groups gives two choices as to the way mail is delivered. I'm
using "traditional" plain-text, and looking at the mail headers the
"content-type" does not contain format=3D"flowed" which should allow
the url to remain unwrapped. I suspect that Yahoo processes the email
in such a way those getting "traditional" (and possibly with "full-
feature" too) email end up with lines wrapped to 80 characters
regardless of the use of carets.

My suggestion would be to either make sure the url is less than 80
characters and is placed on a new line or if it's longer use a
service like tinyurl.

cheers
Paul
