I finally ordered a dedicated sound recorder
(using my video camera for the purpose has been a
headache). I'd chosen the Fostex FR-2LE, and
musiciansfriend.com now says it is in stock. I hope it really is.
However, I foolishly bought a Telinga PRO5W when
I should've gotten a PRO6 with the battery pack.
Now I have to get a PRO6 anyway for best use with
the FR-2LE, and I'm left wondering what to do
with the PRO5W. It's not in perfect shape
anymore. The foam padding got torn because I
stuff the handle under my belt =97 behind me for
carrying it, and in front of me when filming a
bird that's roughly in front of me. The main
reason it got torn is from the stuffing-in-front.
(A custom sheath would be much nicer for carrying
it, and a custom harness would be much nicer for
using it along with video. But I'm not there yet.)
Klas, would you buy it back from me, or for
returning it give me credit towards a PRO6, or suchlike?
Or, does anyone else want to buy it from me? I'm in Los Angeles, California=
