Subject: | I always record to 24 bit if the is ANY processing at all to be done |

- as there is a lot more accuracy in 24 bit. 16 bit for me is only a delivery format, for CD or MP3s. The only time I ever recordin 15 bit is when I need to burn abd hand it over to someone quickly, and am not doing any editing or processing. Proper dither is required to reduce the 24 bit files to 16 bit for burning or compression. |
