But you can still find the specs for their format on the WEB: http://www.schnarff.com/file-formats/index.html#lotus this has all you need to (write code to) read a lotus file and convert it to something one of today's programs can understand. The point (for archive considerations) is A) readability of the medium and B) a copy of the specification of the format of the data. I worry most about future readability. Perhaps I'm the last person with a 5 1/2 floppy drive connected to a machine with drivers that'll work it? Cheers! Steve P |
