Gee thanks Bernie for the plug, I was extremely proud to be a part of the
book, the photography is exceptional if not breathtaking.
I have been entered into a competition with the chance of winning an award
for the sounds; it is very exciting to say the least..
I had a letter from a bloke called Jimmy Carter to say he loved the CD, says
he was some kinda president?
The website looks and feels just great, it is what I would expect from you
mate :-)

Subject: [Nature Recordists] Arctic Wings/ Voice of the Arctic
For those looking for something to read, check out "Arctic Wings," a
beautiful book by David Sibley with recordings by none other than our
very own Martyn Stewart.
I know some have already got or seen or heard the bijoux in the
publication (Mountaineer Books), but I'm particularly noting the
terrific review it received in the "Recommended Reading" section of
the Explorer's Journal (publication of The Explorer's Club) with a
special nod to Martyn: "Birders will especially appreciate the
included CD of birdsong by Martyn Stewart.
Congrats, Martyn.
Oh yes, one other note, for those who'd like to hear what Martyn,
Kevin Colver and I did late last spring in the Arctic National
Wildlife Refuge, you can download our new audio directly off of our
new web site at
