I hope the change is to stop protecting the birds at night in a cage.
There is now enough birds to stop protection against the Bobcats and
the like.

I am so thankful that Crex did not win and get this project that is in
Central WI. It was close but access to any area near where the Cranes
are raised as chicks to teens in WI is severly limited. This area has
high jet flyovers of both commercial and military training so the
recording benefit of this area is toast. I did find a temp lost Crane
in Crex hanging with 500 Sandhills. When I found it I told it where
home was and it flew the next night back to the flock at 150 miles.
