There's a little grille on the top of the case, behind which is the
built-in mono mic. Suitable for note-taking, I expect.
The stereo mic plugs in/clips on the top. It has two 3.5mm stereo
plugs. One is for the mic, the other a dummy that goes in the line
input. Input switching is by menu.

That would align sound from the center...
Anomalies would be at high frequencies. Spacing is around a
wavelength at 15KHz. That means half-wavelength (cancelation) at
Message: 7.
Subject: 5KHz. When I make hissing sounds and rotate it around I don't hear
anything weird, though. Then there's the new Sony with odd XY
spacing, too. Obviously the rules bend.
