t richpeet Sat Jan 27, 2007 2:56 pm (PST) I am building a water proof and shock= proof case for power and recording while canoeing. ... I am building a water proof box to hold my SD= 722 as well as two UPS lead acid batteries. ...I can use foam rubber to kee= p things aligned but need ... a heat sink between the recorder and this cas= e. .... It would seem that a simple solution could be to force the recorder, batt= ery, any anything producing heat into close contact with the metallic case.= Simply suspend the case in the presumably much cooler water to remove heat= quickly.
