I think the easiest way would be to hack one of these.

It uses a small ROM, I think, in the cards, and the electrical
contacts are exposed on the back of the card.  I haven't tried to
reverse engineer it, but I'm guessing it's a pretty simple compression
and interface, and all the other hardware is already there, even the
10 buttons.  Of course, if your tracks are a lot longer than it is
made to play, that might be a show stopper.
