While poking around looking for information about
the integrated circuits in the Sony Hi-MD recorder,
I came across a link to a college level course on
today's audio recording technology.
The author is Jay Kadis, a Stanford University staff
member and audio engineer at Stanford's CCRMA research
center. The well-written notes were last edited in 2006.
