Thanks Rob. I downloaded and tried this yesterday.
I posted a quick review here but it seems to have gone to message
heaven and not to this group.
This application is hurting in a lot of ways.
It takes forever to load a large file.
I then loaded a small wave file as this application only works with a
few audio file types. In simple playback of this small audio file the
CPU load was huge. My DSP has a 0% CPU load itself so this was a good
hardware choice to check the software out. For example Audition 1.5
uses about 1% CPU load to update the video screen on audio playback of
a stereo 16 bit file. Soundbooth was using over 50% on a two track 16
bit wave file. This is on a very fast computer which translates to
badly written software.
Even for a computer challenged user I can not recommend this software.
I recommend any free audio edit software over this.
