goretex anything is pretty terrible in my experience, except
perhaps running shoes/boots.
goretex is barely (read 'theoretically') breathable. Great
marketing dept, however. :-)
Schoeller, OTOH, is highly breathable, and yet it's still pretty
windproof and water resistant.
