Dan,

Snip...

It's a variant on their Isomax series of lavaliere
microphones. There is no data on the Countryman web
site for this microphone, and it's hard to convince
the distributors that it exists until you point out
that it's on the price list. But I have a data sheet!
The self noise is ~23 dBA. Not good, but not
horrible. 10 dB worse than a Sennheiser MKH 30. It
also costs 10 dB less.

Dan- I have two of the mics. If you would like to
borrow them you are welcome to do so.

What this country needs is a good $50 Fig8 microphone!

Eric,
Maybe not just 'this country' (whichever country that is!). Sounds like a
job for a specialist, low-noise, microphone manufacturer in Sweden - Anyone
know one?
