We live in NY, and my wife is an avid birder. If she heard that song 
here, she would say it's an Orchard Oriole - it may be some different 
flavour of Oriole in Illinois. (Or it may not be an Oriole at all, 
though I have to say it does sound an awful lot like one we saw and 
heard here just a week ago.)

That's her best guess...
