The 722 and 744T work with Sony L-series and M-series camcorder batteries. You don't need to use a genuine Sony battery, just one that is compatible with Sony. I think the longest-lasting battery in the L series is the NP-F970, which holds 6600 mAh. This is a seriously large battery, weighing 12oz/350g. Price for the genuine Sony NP-F970 battery is about $100, compatible models from other manufacturers cost less. --oryoki |
