A Green-tailed Towhee (Pipilo chlorurus) sat directly under one of Klas's great mics that resides outside my office on the exterior wall, and sang to= me this morning. I couldn't resist sharing the song with you all! It's at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/naturerecordists/files/Member%20Files/ and is= called "gttodd6.mp3". There is a Lark Sparrow in the background also singing, and his song includes a bit of mimicry, notably of an American Kestrel.
