If I had two weeks to record in MN and WI here is my route and locations. My sites took in consideration quiet locations, high number of species, different land types, drive time, etc. This amounts to 1000 miles of driving with 12 key stops. The trip map looks like this: http://home.comcast.net/~richpeet/tripmap.jpg A very brief description of the stops follow and the reasons why I choose these sites would be to lengthy to describe in a listserv. |
