Can anyone help this person with her question?
Hi.
I live in southern New Hampshire (just miles from the Massachusetts border)=
.
We keep hearing a bird call that we can't identify. It's very common to hea=
r
it, so the bird making it must be common, I suppose. I've tried listening t=
o
recordings on the internet and can't figure out what it is. We never see th=
e
bird making the call. It sounds like "yoo hoo". The yoo is higher in pitch
than the hoo.
Any idea on what it is? Could you please email me possible sounds? I am not
using the sounds for any other purpose other than identifying our mystery
bird.
If you can help, that's great. If not, thanks anyhow.
