Here (http://www.naturesongs.com/weki3.mp3) is my recording from 1997 of a 
Western Kingbird (Tyrannus verticalis) singing pre-dawn outside my home in 
Clarkdale, Arizona. It was recorded with a 1980's AKG dynamic shotgun that 
I bought from someone for $100 on a Sony MZ-R30 MiniDisc. This was actually 
one of my first nature recordings.
