Macaque monkeys

Hi to the nature recordists group. I'm a recordist and mostly work these days
in film and tv
post production in Australia. I've been haunting the sound design and sound
article group list
for some time now.

It was in one of these groups that I asked for help finding some recordings of
the macaque
monkeys in Thailand. Someone suggested I post in this group.

Macaques are cute and cheeky little grey/brown monkeys and they have their own
distinctive
vocalisations. I'm working on a documentary about them and, although I have
some
recordings, it would help if I had some more. I've contacted the local zoo
(Sydney) but they
don't have these monkeys.

And I've already canvassed the powers that be about a trip to Thailand to
record them -
dunno why but budget always seems to be an issue ...

If anyone can help me out or has any ideas where I can get or make some
recordings, iit
woud be great.
