I really have to suppress a slight fit of envy as, being a German
resident, I hardly will have the chance to join you.
I also envy you for your great American soundscapes, your wide open
spaces. You might not know, but here in central Europe there is almost
no way of escaping man made noise. We do not have any wilderness left.
Even the high alpine regions are flooded by men.
Whenever I was in he US the abundance of silence really overwhelmed me.
Meeting the likeminded "people behind the microphones" is surely rewarding.
I am sure you all will have a great time.
THEREFORE TO ALL EUROPEAN MEMBERS OF THIS LIST:
Are there any other people on this list who would find it beneficial to
have a similar gathering organized here in Europe.
If so we might some time organize THE EUROPEAN NATURE RECORDISTS BRANCH
CAMPOUT.
This would be ever so great.
Kind regards
