Hi Jim-- That's encouraging! Do you have the model number on the
roll-up solar charger you're using handy? What battery and for how
long under ideal conditions? Below is what I found in their smaller
rigid, 12 volt units at
http://www.icpsolar.com/4105/introducing_sunsei.asp

Model SE-400 http://www.icpsolar.com/4105/portable_power_charging.asp
Power 400mA, 15V (6W)
Dimensions 37.5 cm x 36 cm x 2.6 cm
Weight 3.3 lbs / 1.5 kg

Model SE-1200 http://www.icpsolar.com/4105/marine_charging.asp
Power 1200mA, 15V (18W)
Dimensions 100 cm x 35 cm x 3 cm
Weight 9.5 lbs / 4.3 kg

Model SE-4000 http://www.icpsolar.com/4105/marine_charging.asp
Power 4A, 16.5V (65W)
Dimensions 104.1 cm x 50.8 cm x 3.6 cm
Weight 15 lbs / 6.8 kg

Thanks, Rob D.
