Dear Group,

Out of curiosity today, I called Pombo's office regarding specifics on
the progress of his Endangered Species Act proposal. I wanted to verify
some specifics before I made any personal judgments on the issues.

The woman I spoke to on the phone mentioned they are voting on it today
in the House and that it is on C-Span right now being discussed.

more specific info on the bill can be found at:
http://www.pombo.house.gov/

enter "hr 3824" in the 'search by bill number' category and get more
specifics from the source

I don't know enough about laws to interpret it all but there are many
variables to this issue being thrown into that proposed bill...

Best Regards,

Jeff
